Bill Day

Bill is a notable digital media veteran renowned for building interactive businesses that bring value to the industry. In his role as CEO of Tremor Video  (FKA: ScanScout), Bill leads the company’s strategic development and business operations.

Prior to joining Tremor Video, Bill was the Chief Media Officer of Marchex, a leader in local consumer search and a leading local merchant ad platform. Bill also served as CEO for MeMedia, the behavioral targeting firm. Other career achievements include holding the titles of CEO and President for About.com, the largest content destination on the internet. He co-founded the company in June 1996, led its success from inception to the company's IPO and eventual sale to Primedia in 2000. Bill also served in a variety of senior leadership roles at Prodigy, responsible for building many of the online services in common use today.

Bill received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Yale University, and his M.B.A. with distinction from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is based in New York City.
