Reveal Imaging Technologies CT-80 Integrated Networking Product Approved by TSA for Explosives Detection in U.S. Airports

Bedford, MA – December 11, 2006

Reveal Imaging Technologies, Inc., a developer of advanced security inspection systems, announced today that the Transportation Security Administration has approved Reveal’s network product ImageNet™, which allows the integration and remote networking of multiple CT-80 explosives detection systems (EDS) and workstations.

“Networking Reveal’s EDS systems will increase the efficiency of certain screening operations,” said Michael Ellenbogen, president and CEO of Reveal Imaging Technologies, “ImageNet™ allows TSA operators to be centrally located to review networked EDS images.”

Next month, working together with TSA, Reveal will begin ImageNet™ installations into U.S. airports. ImageNet™ will provide TSA additional flexibility in allocating screening resources for peak and non-peak periods, as well as providing remote image retrieval. In addition, ImageNet™ will expedite the efficient handling of archived images, training records, remote diagnostics and overall data tracking of all Reveal EDS network activity.

About Reveal Imaging Technologies, Inc.
The Reveal CT-80 was certified in 2004 by TSA and has deployed over 70 Units to U.S. airports to meet TSA standards to automatically inspect 100% of checked baggage for explosives.

The Reveal CT-80 platform, with breakthrough dual-energy Computed Tomography (CT) technology that also shrinks the size, cost and weight of the system, is moving forward in meeting the operational needs of airports and other facilities worldwide. Reveal’s product line is expanding to meet the fast paced, dynamic environment of the passenger-screening checkpoint. This same high-speed platform accommodates checked baggage, parcels, and air cargo.

Headquartered in Bedford, MA, privately held Reveal Imaging Technologies, Inc. is one of only three companies to successfully pass the TSA’s certification process for automated explosive detection systems (EDS).
