Cambridge, MA – January 16, 2007

BBN Technologies, an advanced technology and research and development firm, today announced that James C. O'Connor has been promoted to Executive Vice President. Previously, O'Connor was the Deputy Director of the Maritime Systems and Technologies department in BBN's Washington office. As Executive Vice President, O'Connor will oversee two BBN business units and will divide his time between the Arlington, VA; Cambridge, MA; and Columbia, MD offices.
