Narad Networks Expands Executive Team

Company Taps VPs to Head Product Management and International Business Development

Westford, MA – February 14, 2007

Narad Networks, Inc., a leading provider of high performance switched broadband access solutions, has added two telecommunications industry veterans to the company's management team. David Boymel is now serving as Narad's vice president of product line management, and William Yan is heading the company's global sales efforts as vice president of international business development.

Boymel brings 25 years of experience in product management, marketing, business development and engineering across telecommunications, data networking and cable markets. He most recently served as director of business development at C-COR, which provides product and services including broadband access, Video On Demand and OSS systems to top cable operators. Boymel led the launch of the company's business services initiative, generating traction, opportunities and sales for C-COR products. At C-COR, Boymel formulated strategy and account penetration plans, and cultivated relationships with key cable operators such as Time Warner Cable, Comcast, and Cablevision in the lucrative business services market.

Yan is a veteran of the communications and high-tech industries with more than 17 years of experience in executive management, business development, strategy, sales, and marketing roles. In his most recent position, at Corpus, a global IT consulting services firm, he built and launched the company's cable, satellite, media & entertainment business unit. During his tenure as vice president and general manager, Yan focused on bringing emerging fixed-mobile convergence technology expertise to IPTV, MVNOs, cable, satellite, and wireless service providers and content providers.

"David and Will each bring a depth and breadth of experience in high-tech and telecommunications markets that will be valuable assets to our team," said Michael Collette, CEO, Narad Networks. "David's success rate in leading the development of innovative products across global markets and Will's successful track record in launching businesses and growing revenues will help Narad continue to harness new technologies to offer flexible, lower cost and robust bandwidth solutions that leverage MSO's existing infrastructure."

Previously Boymel led market and product line expansions at telecom equipment vendors. His customer list included AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, Level 3 Communications, British Telecom, and France Telecom. Boymel served as vice president and general manager at Nortel Networks, a leading telecommunications solutions provider, where he launched a new business unit and developed terabit scale optically aware IP/MPLS and Ethernet switches and routers. Boymel also served as senior vice president of engineering and product management at ECI Telecom, a global telecommunications equipment manufacturer, where he refocused the product strategy and revamped the product portfolio to IP and ATM multi-service access switches. Additionally, Boymel has led business units and product divisions at TTC, Ascom Timeplex and Daimler Benz/AEG.

Before joining Narad, Yan served as executive vice president of sales, marketing and business development at Auspice, an infrastructure platform and operational support systems management software vendor, where he provided strategic and tactical leadership. His customer list included major service providers such as Comcast, Cox, Cablevision, and Time Warner Cable. Previously, Yan served as vice president of business development at Verilytics, a business intelligence software vendor, where he spearheaded the company's sales efforts with several large accounts, including Sun Microsystems, IBM, and more. Yan also served as global partner director at Oracle Corporation, where he developed and managed the company's global CRM partnerships. Additionally, Yan managed and consulted for business and marketing units at ABT Associates, Cyan Technologies, and USSB.
