Black Duck Software, a leading global provider of software governance solutions, today announced another significant integration between its protexIP™/development platform and IBM Rational® software. Black Duck has linked protexIP, the most widely used software compliance management system on the market today, with IBM Rational Portfolio Manager, the end-to-end software product and portfolio management solution. Black Duck’s work with IBM Rational has yielded several points of integration between the companies’ product lines. Each helps executives and legal counsel work with developers to ensure software is developed in a way that meets corporate and legal objectives. 

Also at this week’s IBM Rational Software Development Conference, Douglas Levin, president and CEO of Black Duck, will speak on the topic of “Open Source Leading the Way to Better Software Business.” His talk will be held on Tuesday, June 12 at 2:15 p.m.
