Imprivata Certified Engineer (ICE) Program Helps Partners Deliver Identity and Access Management Services to Better Meet Customer Needs

Certification Program Helps Partner Organizations Take Advantage of

Imprivata®, Inc., the enterprise identity and access management appliance company, today formally announced the creation of a worldwide Imprivata Certified Engineer™ (ICE) program, designed to help partners and reseller organizations take advantage of Imprivata’s growing momentum in the identity and access management market and the continued growth and success of the company’s OneSign™ platform. The ICE program will help organizations gain a competitive advantage through increased product knowledge and will offer partners and resellers additional revenue opportunities. To date, the ICE program has trained more than 45 partners.


With reseller and consulting companies needing to continually expand and enhance their offerings to better meet client needs, the ICE program was established as an efficient way for Imprivata’s partners and resellers to be updated on the latest product information, educated on the latest market trends, trained on the latest versions of Imprivata’s products and better prepared to provide exemplary service to customers. Partner organizations and individuals benefit by being formally recognized as “certified engineers” and customers can be assured that these professionals are tested and fully able to deliver services around the Imprivata OneSign platform.

Imprivata OneSign is an authentication and access management solution conveniently packaged in an affordable and secure purpose-built appliance that is easy to implement and maintain. The Imprivata OneSign platform includes OneSign Authentication Management (AM), which increases network security by replacing network access passwords with strong authentication options; OneSign Single Sign-On (SSO), which quickly and effectively solves password management, security and user access issues; and OneSign Physical/Logical, which integrates building and network access systems to enable location-based authentication.

The ICE program can be undertaken as three separate training sessions, each covering a module of the OneSign platform, or as one course that combines all three. This flexible approach enables individuals and organizations to enter the program that makes sense for their market and clients. The programs include:
· OneSign Authentication Management (AM): consists of a three day program – 2 ½ days spent on training and workshop - the other half day focused on testing;
· OneSign Single Sign-On (SSO): consists of a two day segment including instruction, the creation and use of application profiles as well as field work; and
· OneSign Physical/Logical: consists of a formal introduction to the product and a specialized program built to meet the needs of the individual organization and the technologies they’ll be working with in the field.
