Demandware Forms Client Advisory Board to Respond to Growing Retailer Interest in On-Demand eCommerce

Founding members of the Demandware Client Advisory Board include Bare Escentuals, America’s Gardening Resource and Playboy

Woburn, MA – September 12, 2007

Demandware (www.demandware.com), Demandware, developer of the breakthrough On-Demand eCommerce Platform+, today announced the creation of a new Client Advisory Board (CAB). The first meeting of the CAB will be September 16-17, 2007 at the Signature Hotel at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV. This inaugural meeting will take place the two days prior to the Shop.org Annual Summit, the premier gathering of online and multichannel retailers.

The Demandware CAB is comprised of a hand-selected group of senior business executives, with a maximum of 2 executives from each client company. CAB members will help shape the future direction of Demandware’s business strategy and product roadmap, and will have the opportunity to meet with peers in a small group setting. Founding members are from companies including Bare Escentuals, America’s Gardening Resource and Playboy.

“The Demandware Client Advisory Board presents a unique forum for our clients to meet with Demandware executives and with each other,” notes Stephan Schambach, chairman and founder, Demandware. “Participation will be limited to a hand-selected group of senior Demandware client executives – all from high-growth brands. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with peers and industry experts to discuss common challenges, strategies and successes.”

The inaugural meeting will include a full agenda of case studies, workshops and networking events. The meeting will kick off on Sunday, September 16, 2007 with golf and other exciting outdoor activities, followed by a networking reception and dinner. The business meeting and workshops will begin Monday morning September 17, 2007 with a Demandware company update, followed by a session covering the company’s product and services strategy. Following lunch, participants can attend retailer case study sessions and roundtable discussions to help each other maximize their use of the Demandware platform.

CAB members will be encouraged to stay in Las Vegas to attend the Shop.org Summit, for which Demandware is a Platinum Sponsor. During an eCommerce clinic at the Shop.org conference, Julian Chu, director of Demandware’s Client Success Program, will lead a discussion on “Delivering a Seamless Customer Experience: Effective Execution of Multi-Channel Promotions.” Bare Escentuals’ director of web marketing Sarah Veit and retail industry expert Kirthi Kalyanam, director of Internet Retailing at Santa Clara University, also will participate in the session scheduled to take place on Wednesday, September 19 from 1:15-2:15pm PST in Mandalay Bay Ballroom K
