Vette Corp (Vette), a leading global provider of thermal management solutions, announces Joseph M. Capes as general manager of its datacom facilities division. Mr. Capes will lead the recently formed division to focus on liquid cooling for communications services facilities and data center cooling applications. Mr. Capes joins Vette from Premium Power Corporation, where he was vice president of sales and marketing.

Prior to his position at Premium Power Corporation, Mr. Capes was director of business development for Northeast Engineers & Consultants. He also held a series of executive positions at American Power Conversion (APC) including director of marketing - EMEA; director of sales - EMEA; worldwide director of sales for precision cooling solutions; and director of global business development. While employed by APC, he led the company's entry into the precision cooling market and globalized the sales, marketing and service strategy. During the period of his employment with APC, sales revenues grew from $157 Million to $1.3 Billion.

Mr. Capes earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University. He is a member of the 7x24 Exchange, CTIA (Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association) and an active member of the Electricity Storage Association.
