Eons™ Invites A 50+ Generation of Boomers and Seniors to Be Proud, Be Loud about Their Age

Eons Launches the “How Old Are You?” Challenge to Push Past Social Taboos, to Inspire People to Pursue Their Dreams

BOSTON, MA - – April 18, 2006

Eons invites the 50+ generation to live the biggest life possible. With this goal, Eons is posing a challenge to boomers and seniors, encouraging and empowering each individual to do more, see more, learn more and be more! One lucky winner will receive $15,000 to make a lifetime dream possible.

The “How Old Are You?” challenge pushes through social taboos of sharing your age and stereotypes around the limits of what can be accomplished as we get older. Eons, Inc., created by the founder of Monster.com, Jeff Taylor, is building a platform to make the most of this opportunity.

“People may not realize that living to 100 is an achievable goal. If you are 52, you may have 48 or more years ahead of you! What is your plan? Let’s live to be 100 or die trying!” says Taylor.

With the longevity revolution, this generation has an unprecedented opportunity to travel, to explore new careers, to nurture relationships, to give back to the community…to live the biggest life possible. In 1935, the average person lived to be 63. Today, for those who live to be 64, the average person has nearly 20 years more to live. This will be the longest, most unstructured time of their lives.

The Eons world begins at 50; so does this contest. Individuals over the age of 50 are invited to submit their dreams and adventures for a chance at making one come true. Whether the goal is hiking Machu Picchu, learning to cook gourmet meals or bringing the grandkids on a special vacation, the challenge provides everyone with the opportunity to take an important first step of defining their aspirations and writing them down. Making a list, after all, is a proven way to focus on getting things accomplished.

Jeff Taylor has a list of 45 things (and counting) he wants to do before he turns 100. Here’s a glimpse:

* Go fossil hunting in Argentina * Buy a villa in Ibiza, Spain * Stay in an ice hotel * Produce a smash hit dance record * Complete Floating Classroom 1954 tugboat renovation * Own and restore a Shelby Mustang from each year 1965-1970

Contest Details There are three ways to enter the contest. Beginning today, Eons will distribute Limited Edition “How Old Are You?” challenge buttons throughout the U.S., each with an individual prize code. Eons will also send a limited number of emails containing “virtual buttons” with unique prize codes. Experience-hungry 50+ adults who want to enter the challenge but do not receive an official real or virtual button can also enter by visiting www.eons.com.

Once at www.eons.com consumers will be asked “How old are you?” and will have the opportunity to submit up to 100 things they want to achieve before turning 100. Each week a semifinalist will be chosen. The final winner, to be selected in July from a pool of all weekly semifinalists will receive $15,000 to help make their goal a reality. Eons will work with the winner to create an exciting, memorable experience and “mark it done!” With every week of the challenge, Eons will publish a top 10 list of the dreams and adventures that Americans 50+ most want to pursue. A final compilation will be released in July, coinciding with the launch of Eons, Inc.

Those bold enough to take the challenge and tell others to enter are encouraged to visit the eons.com.site as many times as possible. There, individuals will be able to see firsthand how they have inspired others to begin living out their dreams. An interactive map on the site tracks the progress of their prize code, visually demonstrating the power we have to positively influence others.

U.S. citizens who are 50 or older can enter the contest until July 10, 2006. The winner will be announced July 2006 as part of Eons’ official company launch. Check the Eons website for more details and to keep abreast of new developments from Eons.
