The Eons “How Old Are You?” Challenge More than 40,000 goals were collected from more than 5,000 Americans from all 50 states between April and July 2006 as part of Eons’ pre-launch “How Old Are You?” challenge. The viral campaign invited spirited 50+ adults to submit up to 100 goals they would like to accomplish before reaching the attainable age of 100 for a chance to win $15,000 toward making one of them come true. With the July 31 launch of eons.com, Eons unveiled its signature Goals product to all users, allowing them to view an ever-changing list of top goals of 50+ Americans, create their own “want to do” list, and leverage Eons experts, special offers, resources, tools and community of like-minded people to help them achieve them.

Winner to Live Out Lifelong Goal of Visiting China The winner of the Eons “How Old Are You?” challenge, 63-year old Regina Ting of Hawaii, submitted 46 goals and selected No. 4 on her list, “visit my ancestors’ province in China,” as the goal she’ll pursue with her prize winnings.

Eons will work with Ms. Ting to plan her journey and will enable her to blog her experiences at eons.com, inviting others to ask questions and learn from her experience. “I have never won anything in my life,” Ting said. “I entered the contest because I was inspired by the challenge. I wasn’t sure I had goals and dreams, but once I started writing them down I found there were a lot of things I would like to accomplish before reaching 100. Traveling to the province in China where my ancestors originated is a dream and just the first of the many goals on my list that I will tackle in the coming years.”

While the top 50 goals are shared by thousands of Americans, goals that fall further down the list reflect the creativity, passion, family orientation and individual expression of this new generation. Some of the more memorable goals at eons.com include:
