October 17, 2005 (Richardson,TX) GTESS Corporation, a leading provider of outsourced, technology-based claims processing to the healthcare industry, today announced a second preferred Clearinghouse Partnership with Texas-based The Health Information Network (THIN). Recently, GTESS announced Availity, LLC, as an initial preferred Clearinghouse partnership, extending GTESS’ eClaims Gateway™ services to help clients manage clearinghouse relationships and lower their cost-per-claim.
“I hear from clients around the U.S. that they want options to replace their high-cost, low-quality EDI services provider,” said GTESS CEO & President, Deborah M. Gage. “Now, the eClaims Gateway offers the best of GTESS pre-adjudication technology processing combined with the market presence and outstanding service record of leading clearinghouses, including THIN.”
GTESS and THIN are partnering for the receipt of HIPAA-compliant electronic claims and to jointly bring GTESS and THIN services to payer clients. GTESS clients will now benefit from a 100% claim solution, enhanced with its web-based, claim processing applications, reporting, and user administration via the eClaims Gateway portal.
“THIN chose to partner with GTESS because we both share the same philosophy of wanting to lower the administrative costs of healthcare and provide superior customer service to our customers” stated Crawford Guthrie, Senior Director of THIN.
Many payers find it difficult or cost-prohibitive to connect with multiple clearinghouses, and may settle for low quality and poor customer service from a single EDI provider. With access to the eClaims Gateway™ that merges the GTESS Mailroom services with our Partner Clearinghouses, payers gain a clean, homogenous stream of EDI claims, customized to auto-adjudicate, and all the accrued benefits of a single operational portal for quick, efficient customer service. In fact, GTESS’ fully integrated products are built upon a connective architecture that provides a single, streamlined workflow for all claims processing operations, creating new levels of cost savings and efficiency and opening the door for future applications. Within the GTESS solution, GTESS’ document management product, DocControl™, will now contain 100% of clients’ claims and the network management services component, PPO Connect™, can route and track all claims consistently.
