Laszlo Systems Chosen As MOMENTUM 2006 Company at the IBDNetwork Annual Momentum Growth Conference

September 19, 2006

San Mateo, CA, September 19, 2006 - Laszlo Systems, the original developer of OpenLaszlo, the leading open source platform for building and deploying advanced Ajax applications, today announced that the company has been selected out of more than 500 candidates as a MOMENTUM 2006 company for the upcoming IBDNetwork Momentum Growth Conference. Alongside other digital life visionaries, including Facebook, Pandora, and Sling Media, Laszlo will be honored at IBD’s first Momentum Growth conference, which is being held on September 27- 28, 2006 at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, Calif.

IBDNetwork's distinguished selection committee chose the thirty MOMENTUM 2006 finalists based on key company and market measurements. Each company is an industry leader that has demonstrated significant revenue growth over a short period of time, as well as substantial user-base size, customer adoption and strategic, highprofile partnerships.

"We are proud to honor Laszlo Systems and are impressed by what they've been able to achieve in two short years after taking OpenLaszlo open source," said Debbie Landa, CEO of IBDNetwork. "With this prestigious invitation, all of our Momentum companies are being recognized as 'ones to watch.' We consider them role models for growing exponentially while gaining rapid traction in an exploding market."

"It is an honor to be recognized by IBDNetwork as a result of our hard work and the OpenLaszlo community's dedication," said Laszlo's Chairman and CEO, Steve Ciesinski. "Following the recent announcement of the close of our Series C funding, continued innovation and further market adoption are certainly top of mind at Laszlo. We look forward to sharing the Laszlo story during the upcoming conference."
