Venetica Expands Third Party Distribution Through Formal Program for Systems Integrators and Service Providers

Corridor Consulting, INSCI, J&H Consulting and TriTek Sign on as Venetica Partners

June 30, 2004

Charlotte, N.C., June 30, 2004 - Venetica, the leading provider of enterprise content integration (ECI) software, today announced the formalization of its partner program for systems integrators and service providers to address growing worldwide demand for enterprise content integration. The program, an extension of the Venetica Partner Program, will allow Venetica to deliver content integration solutions to new customers and expand the base of expertise in Venetica’s flagship product VeniceBridge, particularly as it applies to specific vertical markets.

ECI has become a crucial part of enterprise application initiatives as companies seek to remove departmental and line of business barriers in order to create an enterprise-wide view of unstructured content. With its unique ability to make disparate content and workflow sources act as one unified system, Venetica has emerged as the ECI partner of choice for enterprise content management providers, such as FileNet, IBM, Open Text, Hummingbird, Interwoven and Stellent. With today’s announcement, Venetica is extending its partnerships to systems integrators, service providers and value-added resellers, to expand its market opportunity, reach new markets and fulfill the increased interest in ECI for applications such as customer service, intelligence and compliance.

“Customers implement ECI to accelerate their business-critical initiatives,” said Stuart Levinson, president and CEO, Venetica. “Our partners help us complete the solution for our customers, especially in the vertical markets these partners live and breathe each day.” As part of today’s announcement, Venetica introduced four new partners. These partners will leverage VeniceBridge to build solutions that leverage disparate content sources across the enterprise:

The Venetica Partner Program offers participating partners a rich set of benefits including technical support, development resources, software and documentation, sales and marketing resources, and ECI expertise in the form of technical, distribution and support professionals.

Venetica’s formal partner program is comprised of three categories:

Venetica Services Partners — systems integrators, service providers and value-added resellers providing expertise to support ECI implementations

Venetica Technology Partners — software vendors whose applications have been integrated with Venetica technologies to offer their customers access to diverse content throughout the enterprise

Venetica OEM Partners — independent software vendors that bundle and resell VeniceBridge software along with their own solutions

Venetica provides customers with a single interface to content across disparate environments. Unlike other offerings that replicate meta-data, Venetica solutions provide a real-time virtual view of all content and workflow in place. Venetica’s approach exposes the full, two-way functionality of underlying content management and workflow systems, respects the security of those systems and adds cross-system services such as federated search. Venetica provides tools to easily develop enterprise applications that connect to any content system, and out-of-the-box bridges to leading systems such as those from FileNet, Documentum, IBM, Lotus, Microsoft and Open Text.
