Room77.com has grown over the past year with new features. The website now loads a more traditional looking hotel rate search homepage. Room77 is a metasearch engine that compares rates from different hotel booking sites in the way Kayak.com functions, but with more useful search capabilities for the loyalty traveler seeking hotel points and group rates.
We're doing our best to keep up with the ever-shifting landscape of hotel booking sites, but there's certainly been a lot to keep track of! The latest: Room 77, which made a name for itself by being able to match up guests with the exact room they want, is now allowing guests to earn loyalty points from bookings made through Room 77. In other words, you no longer have to choose between the convenience of window-shopping for hotel rooms and the satisfaction of using the hotel's loyalty program.
Just in time for the busy summer travel season, hotel search engine Room 77 is introducing several new tools and features that will benefit even the most discerning traveler. In addition to searching multiple online travel sites simultaneously, Room 77 now helps travelers uncover special rates, including advanced purchase, AAA member rates and senior discounts -- saving travelers up to 50 percent off other online travel providers.
Concur Technologies, which bought TripIt for up to $120 million last year, has now invested in Room 77, a hotel search and booking website.
