Brad Hoover focuses on investments in early and growth stage technology businesses. Areas of special interest include wireless, financial services, and consumer internet. Brad is currently a board member of go2 Media and MocoSpace, and is involved with CCP Games, EzPrints and QuickPlay Media.
Brad joined General Catalyst from The Strategy Learning Center (SLC), a start-up consultancy he co-founded. While at SLC, Brad developed a private equity consulting business, and helped veteran entrepreneurs secure funding. Prior to SLC, Brad was a Business Analyst for McKinsey & Company. At McKinsey, Brad worked primarily for Fortune 500 clients on growth, market entry, innovation, and sales strategy, in addition to performance management and procurement optimization. Before McKinsey, Brad led the development of an intranet application used by the former Arthur Andersen to project manage clients’ mergers and acquisitions.
Brad graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University, with a B.S. in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering.
