As a Managing Director of General Catalyst Partners, Jonathan invests in both new and existing technology businesses. His areas of special interest include: enterprise software/infrastructure and social media.

Before joining General Catalyst Partners, Jonathan was a Principal at Benchmark Capital in Menlo Park, CA. Prior to Benchmark he managed several engineering teams at Google and was an early member of its Strategy and Business Operations group focusing on international expansion of research and development.

Jonathan is a graduate of Stanford University, earning a MS and Sydney University where he received a BS in Electrical Engineering.
