As an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at General Catalyst Partners, Michael Bronner focuses on identifying new investment opportunities in commerce-based businesses.

Michael Bronner is the founder and Chairman of Upromise. Michael founded Upromise in 2001 to make college more affordable for middle-income families. Upromise is the largest coalition of companies ever assembled to support a common cause. More than seven million families have joined Upromise and have saved nearly $13 billion for college.

Michael is also the founder and Chairman Emeritus of Digitas, the leading digital marketing agency. Digitas employs nearly 2,000 professionals that provide integrated strategy, technology and marketing solutions to Fortune 100 companies including American Express, AT&T, Delta Air Lines, Federal Express and General Motors.

Among his numerous community activities, Michael serves on the boards of the Boys and Girls Clubs, Children’s Hospital Trust and Boston University. In recognition of all that Michael has contributed to the community, Michael received the Torch of Liberty Award from the Anti-Defamation League.
