Dan is co-founder and CEO of Range. An engineer by training, he was a Staff Software Engineer at Google, where he worked on Google+ and Gmail, and co-created the Closure library. He then went on to lead engineering at Medium, where for 5 years he oversaw platform growth to over 60M monthly uniques and 600K stories published per month. He has an MA in Industrial Design from Sheffield University and a BSc in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Manchester. In past lives, Dan raced snowboards, jumped out of planes, and lived in the jungle.

Jennifer Dennard

Co-Founder & COO, Range

Jen led the organization design team at Medium, deploying custom software and trainings to implement a new organizational structure while the company scaled from 80 to 150 employees. While at Medium, she also designed and implemented people operations programs and was a people partner to Medium executives and functional leads. Prior to Medium, Jen consulted with startups to foster and improve their workplace culture during times of scaling and pivoting.

Jen researched international political dynamics at Princeton University where she used game theory and statistics to model international and domestic politics (e.g., diplomacy and war). She holds an MA in Political Science from Princeton and a BA in Mathematics and Political Science from Vanderbilt University. Jen lives in San Francisco with her two cats, loves backpacking in the wilderness alone, and reading till all hours of the night.

Braden Kowitz

Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer, Range

Braden is a co-founder and the Chief Product Officer at Range. He was an early designer at Google, and joined the company in 2005. He led the design of several new products, including Google for Business, Google Spreadsheets, and Google Trends. He also led design on Gmail for several years before joining Google Ventures (GV) as a design partner and co-wrote the NY Times bestselling book Sprint: How to Solve Big Problems and Test New Ideas in Just Five Days.

At GV, Braden advised startups on how to build teams and processes that support innovation. He saw first hand the challenges that companies face when scaling, and the need for better tooling to help teams work quickly while staying aligned.
