Anand Babu Periasamy

Co-Founder & CEO, MinIO

AB Periasamy is the co-founder and CEO of MinIO. Prior to MinIO, AB co-founded Gluster in 2005 to commoditize scalable storage systems. As CTO, he was the primary architect and strategist for the development of the Gluster file system, a pioneer in software-defined storage. After the company was acquired by Red Hat in 2011, AB joined Red Hat’s Office of the CTO. AB began his career as the CTO of California Digital Corporation, where his work led to scaling of the commodity cluster computing to supercomputing class performance. His work there resulted in the development of Lawrence Livermore Laboratory’s “Thunder” code, which, at the time was the second-fastest in the world.

AB holds a Computer Science Engineering degree from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu, India.

Garima Kapoor

Garima Kapoor is the COO and co-founder of MinIO. Prior to this role, Garima served as the company’s CFO. Garima is an active investor and advisor to emerging technology companies in Silicon Valley. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Accounting and Finance from Nirma University, a Masters in Economics from Banasthali Vidyapith, and a BS in Economics from Delhi University.

Co-Founder, MinIO

Harshavardhana is a co-founder of MinIO where he serves as one of the principal engineers. Prior to co-founding MinIO, Harsha was one of the founding engineers at Gluster which was acquired by RedHat. Following the acquisition, Harsha served as the subject matter expert for GlusterFS, XFS, and RHEL. He is a contributor to a number of different open source projects including Golang, Spark, Hadoop, and FreeBSD Kernel (FUSE layer). He earned his Bachelor of Engineering from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE), Mysore.
