Our Investment in Pelico

Building the Supply Chain Orchestration Platform for Manufacturing

Manufacturers are under immense pressure—from unpredictable supply chains to geopolitical shocks and escalating performance demands. In this environment, agility and speed are fundamental to survival. Yet many manufacturers still rely on legacy systems not equipped to handle the pace and complexity today’s factories demand.

Manufacturing has become a frontline use case for applied AI. At General Catalyst, we’re seeking to shape the future of industrial resilience by investing in software for hardware: intelligent platforms solving real-world problems in physical industries. That’s why we’re proud to lead Pelico’s $40M strategic financing round as it builds and scales an AI-powered supply chain orchestration platform for industrial manufacturing.

The Live-Data Layer for Manufacturing Teams

Pelico addresses a critical and underserved gap in industrial technology: the lack of a real-time decision-support layer for factory teams. Its AI-powered platform integrates fragmented factory data—from systems like Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and Transportation Management System (TMS) to factory-floor sensors—into one visibility and decisioning layer. It is designed to empower factory teams to detect disruptions, diagnose root causes, and coordinate responses—all in real time.

Rather than a bolt-on analytics tool, Pelico’s platform is deeply integrated into factory workflows. Its simulation engine lets planners test different operational scenarios and immediately see downstream effects. Built-in collaboration tools replace spreadsheets and email chains, creating shared visibility across procurement, operations, and customer support. And as the platform evolves, it will embed AI into core workflows, enabling a transition from reactive problem-solving to proactive, strategic execution.

Proven Commitment at Scale

Pelico’s platform is already trusted by some of the world’s most complex manufacturers, including Airbus, Daikin, Eaton, and Safran. Usage is expanding across sites and functions, with operational leaders reporting an average 40% reduction in parts shortages, a 15% increase in on-time deliveries, and a 40% reduction in Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) cycle times.

This traction is a testament to CEO Tarik Benabdallah, with whom we’ve built a trusted relationship after tracking Pelico since its seed stage. A former Palantir leader and architect of Airbus’s Skywise program, Tarik has what we think is a rare combination of deep sector expertise, field empathy, and system-level thinking. After building Pelico in France, he has relocated to the U.S. to help meet growing global demand.

“Today’s disruptions and future shocks cannot be solved by siloed teams and fragmented supply chains. We started Pelico in 2019 to solve the dilemma that a single late part can halt a billion dollar production and limit the ability to innovate. Our AI-powered co-pilot is built to solve this by creating a connected, real-time view of supply chain operations.” -Tarik Benabdallah

A System Built for Agility, Not Legacy

Pelico sits at the intersection of applied AI and industrial resilience, addressing a $310 billion Industry 4.0 software market. As an early backer with La Famiglia, we recognized Pelico's potential to transform complexity into clarity by turning operational data into fast, actionable insights.

We believe Pelico’s early focus on high-value, precision-critical sectors positions it to become the default intelligence layer in the modern factory stack. Where traditional ERP systems emphasize standardization, Pelico is designed for flexibility, speed, and collaboration.

This investment reflects one of our deepest convictions: that applied AI will transform how the physical world operates. We’re excited to partner with Pelico as they build the next-generation operating system for industrial manufacturing.
