At General Catalyst, I'm driving our Applied AI thesis in Europe with a focus on seed investing. I'm excited about partnering with founders who leverage Europe's academic strength and industrial depth to unlock massive value.
My path has been shaped by my curiosity for technology, company building and scaling. I started my career at BCG, advising corporates on AI strategy in the pre-ChatGPT era, and gained early venture capital experience at a fund in New York and San Francisco. Later, I helped automotive tech company Vay scale, and led business development at Flix's newest venture, FlixTrain. Along the way, I've invested in 10 early-stage companies in Europe and the U.S. as an angel investor and adviser.
Having spent four years at Harvard and later continuing my studies as a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford, I'm passionate about connecting the European and U.S. technology ecosystems. I thrive in high talent-density environments and consider it a privilege to work with people who consistently raise the bar.
Outside of work, I grew up on the golf course, winning the German high school national championships at age 16. These days, you'll find me cross-country skiing in the winter or running along Berlin's Spree River in the summer.
