Building generational companies requires guidance from those who have transformed industries before. Our Catalyst Advisors are industry leaders exhibiting GC’s values who collaborate with us to create new companies or transform existing ones. They come with a wealth of insights, networks, and operational experience to support founders at all stages of their journeys. We’re thrilled to bolster our Catalyst Advisor bench strength by welcoming three new Catalyst Advisors across Global Resilience, AI, and Enterprise.

Andy McCall was previously the CRO at Samsara, leading sales, customer success, and support organization. During his six-plus-year tenure there, Andy helped scale Samsara from single digit millions of revenue to a billion in revenue. Before Samsara, Andy was VP of Worldwide Sales at Meraki and continued in that role when Cisco Systems acquired the company. We’ve known Andy since 2017, when we initially invested in Samsara, and we’re grateful to continue our partnership with him as a Catalyst Advisor on the Global Resilience team.

Laszlo Bock has been a founder, CEO, advisor, investor, best-selling author, and member of Alphabet/Google’s executive management group. Most recently, he was the co-founder and former CEO of Humu (acquired in 2023 by Perceptyx) and co-founder and chair of Gretel.ai, the leading synthetic data platform for developers. During his decade at Alphabet/Google as SVP of People Operations (CHRO), the company was recognized over 150 times as an exceptional employer.  Laszlo and his team created the “People Analytics” field, applying academic-quality rigor and Google-paced innovation to people management. His New York Times bestselling book, WORK RULES! Insights from Inside Google to Transform How You Live and Lead has been published in over 25 languages, garnered numerous “Book of the Year” honors, and sold over 750,000 copies. He’s a champion for refugees, immigrants, education, and veterans. We’re excited to have him share his wisdom as a Catalyst Advisor on our AI and Enterprise teams.

Udi Mokady joins GC after 18 years as the CEO of CyberArk — a company he co-founded in 1999 and spearheaded its journey from start-up to IPO in 2014. Under his leadership, CyberArk defined the identity security category and continues to achieve record growth with Udi as Executive Chairman. We are thrilled to apply his depth of expertise as an entrepreneur, mentor, angel investor, and thought leader to the areas of cybersecurity, global expansion, and innovation at scale. We believe he will be instrumental on our Enterprise, AI, and Global Resilience teams and help with our Israel insight and coverage.

We are grateful to our newest Catalyst Advisors and look forward to leveraging what we view as their unique perspectives to help our founders navigate their journeys and deepen work in AI, Enterprise, and Global Resilience. Welcome to GC, Andy, Laszlo, and Udi!
