Athul Jacob

I am the Co-founder and Chief AI Officer at Percepta (a GC Transformation Company) where I help critical industries accelerate their transformation with frontier AI and decision-making.

Based in Cambridge, I also collaborate closely with GC’s Creation team on hatch and buyout initiatives centered on AI, and partner with investment teams across Ignition and Endurance.

Before Percepta, I worked on AI agents and strategic decision-making at Google, Meta, and Microsoft, and served as a GC AI Fellow. I hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, combinatorics, and optimization from the University of Waterloo and a Ph.D. in AI from MIT.

I split time between Cambridge, New York, and San Francisco as we build Percepta’s capabilities and support GC companies on their AI journeys.
