Delaney Higgins

I serve as Director of Strategic Initiatives at General Catalyst Institute (GCI), where I support the team on founder-facing engagements and projects.

Before joining GCI, I was a Senior Policy Advisor at the White House National Economic Council on the economic security team. I have also worked on economic policy for Senator Rand Paul and the Senate Homeland Security Committee, and on foreign policy for former Senator Pat Toomey. I completed my undergraduate degree in Modern History and Art History at the University of St Andrews in Scotland and a master’s degree in International Political Economy at the London School of Economics.

In my free time, I enjoy trips with friends to the driving range, exploring what’s new in D.C., and hanging out with my cat, Mimi.
