As Director of Global Content and Editorial at General Catalyst, I shape the company's content strategy and thought leadership.
Prior to joining GC, I led the International Strategy Forum, a global fellowship program founded by ex-Google CEO Eric Schmidt that bridges the worlds of technology and geopolitics. I have overseen strategic communications for multinational programs including the Quad Fellowship, collaborated with world-renowned journalist Fareed Zakaria on his book Age of Revolutions, and worked on state and congressional electoral campaigns in my home state of Minnesota.
A historian of modern Central and Eastern Europe by training, I earned degrees at Columbia University and Carleton College. My work has been published in Foreign Policy, New Eastern Europe, and the Journal of International Affairs. I am also the lead editor of European Integration and Disintegration, published by Routledge.
Outside of work, you can find me reading (mostly history, although I'm branching out into more fiction), traveling (35 countries and counting), enjoying the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, playing squash, and exploring the Upper West Side (the best neighborhood in NYC).
