Investment Team

At General Catalyst, I'm driving our resilience thesis in Europe with a focus on seed investing. I'm curious about technology and how it can solve our biggest problems in the physical world. Besides seed investing, I'm interested in exploring incubations and other creative strategies to shape industries such as manufacturing, energy, and defense.
I started my career at p9 capital investing in software and marketplaces. Later I became an entrepreneur, founding a field service software company for renewable energy installers that was acquired by Kraken Technologies (part of Octopus Energy). Following the acquisition, I've led the global implementation team for Kraken's field product line, working with utilities on modernizing their enterprise software stack. My own founder experience has fueled my passion for working with founders at the earliest stages, which eventually led me to angel investing.
I studied industrial engineering and management at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Outside of work, I'm an avid ultra trail runner and have competed in races across the globe, including multiple crossings of the Alps on foot.
