At General Catalyst, I focus on driving our early-stage venture business in Europe, co-conspiring with the most ambitious founders from day zero of their company-building journeys. I’m particularly drawn to entrepreneurs who see the world differently - those with the conviction, care, and creativity to turn novel market perspectives into enduring impact.

My fascination with this stage is deeply rooted in my own past. Having grown up in a small town in Germany with limited perspective, I developed a strong appreciation for opportunity and the people who create it. After working my way through education and earning two master’s degrees from the University of St. Gallen, I joined a venture in its early innings to help build its commercial foundation. Working alongside exceptional entrepreneurs, I came to see the 0-to-1 phase as the most formative chapter of any company’s life - where differentiated insight, relentless execution, and strong partnership turn ideas into real momentum.

Venture capital became a natural extension of that work, allowing me to partner with founders at the very beginning of their journeys time and again. I began investing at La Famiglia, a pure-play seed fund, and continue this mission today at General Catalyst.

When I’m not chasing the next great founder, I enjoy hunting down hidden food gems from the saddle of my old racing bike.
