Tracy Fong

At General Catalyst, I lead fund-partnership investments, where I focus on engaging, sourcing, supporting, and investing in seed and emerging fund managers within the venture capital ecosystem.

Before joining General Catalyst, I spent 25+ years in startups and technology firms and 20+ years as an institutional allocator across various alternative and traditional asset classes. I began investing in emerging managers in 2010 and have been actively investing in technology companies since 2004. Earlier, I worked at Albourne Partners, SVB Capital, Harvard Management Company, Yahoo!, and startups in 1999-2000, Varsity Books and Webvan. I am a graduate of the University of California (B.S. in Business Administration) and Harvard Business School (MBA).
